The Bub Hub.... a concept designed for A Brave Life with the aim to help alleviate some of the extra financial and social pressures young women face being mothers. The goal was to create an initiative that allowed young mothers to borrow essential (but often expensive) items they will need to help nurture a developing child or for their own personal and professional development, while also allowing for a supportive environment for them to share and meet other young parents. These things could be as diverse as prams, cribs, or interview attire, and hopefully encourage further opportunities when the swap-meet style events take off. In creating another space for networking and sharing with individuals in similar situations the aim is to further reduce the stigmas involved with being a young mother and to offer support in as many ways as possible.
